Views from Northwest Ohio, by Cindy and Dianna
These past few months has left us feeling a little dazed at who knows what or which way they think things will go. In the investment arena we feel like a person watching a piñata that has just been opened up and investors are scrambling around looking for the candy. And the candy would be the best investment. Housing is not good, Financials are having a very rough time, Tech is up and down, and Retail is not well.
Even the financial Gurus are having a tough time predicting and following the economy as to where the next best investment is. We have this recession and one guru thinks it is only a correction period thru the end of the year and another will think it has not come full cycle yet.
In reading through the articles about housing and recession, many people do not want to mention the “R” word, but it is obvious to most people that we are in recession. People who should know, like Bernanke, have said we are not in a “Recession”, but as time goes on they are swayed more towards that “R” word but won’t come out and admit it. Living in Ohio very close to the Michigan border our two states are in the worst housing recession in a long time.
Introducing…
Cindy and Dianna are the lead editorial analysts for TrendPointers, and probably read more articles about the economy and investing environment each month than most anyone on the planet. Thousands of articles. Listen to their words, they are the most direct link to what the media is actually reporting from the perspective of the people who are living it everyday.
